Notes: Old graves conjour up all sorts of thoughts, thoughts of mortality, the people who lie beneath and also thoughts of loved ones both alive and who have passed on. It is for this reason I took this photo.

Notes: Having always loved burning candles I decided to work on taking an interesting photo of a burning candle and this is the result. I really like this burning candle photo and feel I have managed to achieve a thought provoking view.

Bulgarian Village

Notes: this photo was taken on a hill overlooking a Bulgarian village. The two dark spots in the top right corner is smoke from burning tyres as it was on a day where tyres were being burnt close by. This is a truly rural Bulgarian village photo and I love its old world style.

Notes: the wonderful background against the gentle tones of the Christmas candle makes this a photo I really enjoy. The background is actually a cream throw I placed the candle on to take the shot.

Christian Cross

Notes: This cross is found in Gilroes Cemetary in Leicester, the cross is to commemorate those fallen in battle during the two World Wars. The imposing nature during the dark weather of this April morning made for an interesting photo.

Pink Flower
